Budgeting participatory: an approach to Information Science

This work suggests highlighting the importance of participatory budgeting as a source of social inclusion in society of intensive information, together with the postulates of Information Science. The participatory model of participatory management of the budget shows signs of possible construction of a method provider of democracy, in which case the information becomes invaluable input. In this context, information science emerged as a web of ties with formulations for concurrent access, dissemination, registration and organization of the information produced are transformed into reality, suggesting, moreover, propositions of order for citizenship education. At the present moment of historical and cultural transition in which we are passing in Brazilian society, communities, and economically and socially excluded people have the possibility to participate in the process of democratic management through participatory budgeting. These clusters of information sharing, and knowledge tend to contribute to creating alternative social space transformation in order to promote the inclusion of disadvantaged social groups in accessing information.
