We have studied effects of 1/m(Q) corrections for semi-leptonic decays in the heavy quark effective theory phenomenologically. The effect on the value of V(cb), which is derived by Neubert's method, is at most a few percent. Our analyses are also successful in the semi-leptonic decay of the D meson. In particular, branching ratios of D0 --> K*-l+v and D0 --> K-l+v decays are consistent with experimental values in virtue of 1/m(s) corrections.
