Information and Communication Technologies Applied on Learning in the University of Caldas

In this research article are shown the findings related to the use the teachers give to the Information and Communication Technologies for their teaching-learning processes in the University of Caldas. In the same way is presented a proposal to develop an action plan based on the needs of the teachers, students and the Institution itself to consolidate and to dynamize virtual education. The proposal starts from the results of the survey, based on a stratified random sampling in the Departments and Faculties of the University, considering diverse variables and factors for the learning, the infrastructure, the necessary resources and processes for virtuality in the short, medium and long term.
