PREPARATION AND DC CONDUCTIVITY OF THE LOW-TEMPERATURE GLASSY-CARBON

摘要
The electrical properties of the low‐temperature glassy carbon are determined. The activation energy decreases from about 0.6 eV for heat treatment temperature (HTT) 400 °C to 0.08 eV for HTT 700 °C. For the temperature range 80 to 200 K Mott's law is fulfilled, and the density of states which is equal to N(E) = 3 × 1019 eV−1 cm−3 is calculated.
