摘要
2,4-Dichlorophenol was decomposed in the presence of TiO2 Suspensions by illumination with a low pressure u.v. light. The experiments were carried out under various pH conditions, reaction times and TiO2 loadings. The decomposition rate followed Langmuir-Hinshelwood kinetics. The decomposition and demineralization of 2,4-dichlorophenol by the photocatalytic process can be described fairly well by a simplified two-step consecutive reaction scheme.
