摘要
We report the synthesis of a new high-T(c) superconductor TlCaBaSrCu2O7-delta in single-phase form. Air-quenched samples showed a T(c) (R = 0) of 90 K. Slow cooling the compound in nitrogen environment improves T(c) (R = 0) value to 94 K. AC susceptibility measurements confirm a sharp drop with an onset at 94 K. Contraction of the unit cell, consequent upon Sr-substitution in Tl-1122 structure, as observed by X-ray diffraction analysis confirms the occupancy of Sr-ions at Ba-sites.
