摘要
The RNA of tobacco etch virus was extracted and found to have a molecular weight of 3.2 × 106 based on an extrapolation from polyacrylamide-gel electrophoresis mobility. The RNA from the virus could be separated into two classes, one containing and one lacking polyadenylate isostichs of sufficient length to bind to polyuridylic-acid-agarose. The two classes were present in variable amounts depending on the batch of virus used for isolation of RNA and both classes were infectious. © 1979.
