STABILITY OF A SUPERHEATED BINARY MIXTURE

摘要
A study is made of metastable states in superheated binary mixtures. An inequality which determines the possible depth of penetration into the metastable region is obtained. It is shown that the region of the metastable state which is physically attainable depends both on the state parameters of the system and on individual properties of the mixture.
