摘要
A system used for monitoring of fed-batch penicillin fermentation is characterized. The system includes exhaust gas analysers, a membrane sampling module and analysers measuring dissolved substrate components. Different membrane modules for sampling are examined and compared. An in situ sterilizable membrane module is characterized, and a model describing the now through the unit is proposed. Flow-injection analysers for measuring ammonium and glucose are described and optimized for monitoring samples from penicillin fermentation.
