Solid solutions of aromatics in n-paraffins (the schpolskii effect) - II. Aggregates or crystallites in annealed samples

摘要
The solute associations formed upon annealing solid solutions have been comparatively studied for coronene, 1,12 benzperylene(1,12 BP) and perylene in n-paraffinic matrices from hexane to nonane. The existence and properties of the solute interactions are revealed by absorption as well as emission spectra. The structure of the characteristic association observed, called an "aggregate", is explained by relatively simple models.
