Dynamics of the image "Stalin" in russian language consciousness

In contemporary linguistics there is not a consistent theory of proper names semantics and methods of its analysis have not been worked out to the full extent yet. We suggest analyzing of the semantic volume of the proper names, based on the associative field as a model of language consciousness image that correspond to the proper name. The research is held on the material of associative fields "Stalin" taken from the Russian Associative Dictionary-1 and the Russian Associative Dictionary-2.
