摘要
The vacuum ultraviolet fluorescence from an ionic alkali-halide excimer was observed by an electron beam excitation. A gas mixture of helium or neon with a hot vapor of cesium fluoride was excited to obtain two diffuse emission bands centered at 185 and 152 nm from Cs2+F-, which is isoelectronic to XeF excimer. The observed bands were assigned to the B-X and D-X transitions, respectively.
