Strategic thinking, the great challenge for the Colombian armed forces

Although human beings seem to stay in conflict this isn't its natural state, and its position as a rational being allows it to be born in peace and adjust the world to live in harmony with its peers and the environment surrounding it. It is time Colombia starts to think in the post-conflict and initiate relearning to have a different vision about what the world is and especially the country. This article pretends to highlight the new purpose of the Colombian national police, building and reinforcing the social environment through coexistence to achieve productive human quality, assuming this requires a more committed, more humane, better formed and more integral police man with leadership capacity gifted with a modern strategic thinking adapted to the new necessities of the country. This document was born from an analysis of an investigation's main objective performed at Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia venue El Espinal, as is: Design didactic supports that allow bringing to the educational community sufficient and necessary formation for the generation of skills in strategic planning, along Colombia's the current situation and the new challenges of the national police.
