摘要
This article deals with environmental education in the context of public policy. What are the challenges for the implementation of environmental education policy in the state system of education, basic education and upper Parana it is the question for this reflection. The aim is to analyze aspects that make up these challenges to effect the State Determination of Environmental Education for Parana Education System as instrument of public policy. Show up elements of the current theoretical debate in the field of environmental education, with the authors references as Lima (2002), Loureiro (2006) and Layrargues (2012), among others. This is the process of building the Parana State Environmental Education Policy, with the structural axis the river basin as the geographic space of articulation of formal and non-formal environmental education. To systematize information on the preparation of this Resolution and referrals for its implementation, such as environmental education policy in the context of educational institutions, schools and universities, considering the dimensions of physical space, institutional management and curricular organization. It is considered that the challenges in this deployment are related to the necessity and the political decision of public managers, training and social control so that this educational policy was effective and successful management.
