We present results obtained by the H1 Collaboration at HERA from the analysis of the data collected in 1992-the first year of HERA operation. Measurements of the total photoproduction cross-section and the inclusive jet cross-section in gamma p scattering, the structure function F-2(x, Q(2)) and the jet rates in deep inelastic ep scattering, and results of direct searches for leptoquarks are discussed.
