摘要：
A new and simple paper disc assay is described for measuring the activity of long-chain fatty acyl-CoA synthetases that depends on measuring the direct incorporation of 14C-palmitate into its product. Oleate was found to be unsatisfactory for this procedure due to difficulty of elution from paper discs. The behavior of the assay system is shown to be consistent with the expected properties of the enzyme, and this method has been found particularly useful for kinetic studies in our laboratory. © 1969.
