摘要
Environmental Education is considered to be a comprehensive education for everyone in any context of life. Our society offers a variety of materials and resources which make it possible to develop the subject of Environmental Education in a manner that is close to students and seen to be useful in their everyday lives. However, not all the resources are acceptable or used correctly. For this reason, the current research seeks to test the validity of television advertising as a resource in Environmental Education. To this end, a comprehensive analysis of current TV advertising watched by minors was carried out, in which observational methodology was used with a range of measurement instruments. Through observational analysis, in tandem with the results obtained from a survey conducted in the environmental setting of the Huerto Alegre farm-school, an attempt was made to discover the following: whether the principles of environmental education are followed as a result of the influence of environmental advertising, or whether the overriding objective is to sell certain products labelled as "green".
