A simple mass-rearing method for the fruit-feeder type yellow peach moth, Dichocrocis punctiferalis Guenee, was established with an oviposition device and an artificial diet. The oviposition device was a ball-type tea strainer (diam. 8 cm) which contained a small green fruit as an odor source and was wrapped with cheese cloth. The artificial diet consisted of meal powder for mouse, soybean meal powder, dry wood powder, ascorbic acid, agar powder, and water.
