摘要
Al diablo la maldita primavera (2003) approaches us to the Bogotan gay world through Edwin Martinez Buelvas life history. Narrated from the protagonist's perspective, the novel goes into the individual and group experience of this young homosexual man, informing us about his costumes, preferences and social codes, as well as his emotions, individual values and the turns of his subjectivity in a life developed at the margin of the heterosexual norm. This paper analyzes Edwin's gender identity construction and the different ways in which he subverts the normative gender matrix delimited by Judith Butler, through the exploration of preferences, attitudes and behaviors presented in the novel.
