摘要
The Tamunangue is a music and dance event in honor of San Antonio, which is celebrated in many towns and cities of Lara on June 13, especially in places where it has been planted sugarcane. Opening the Tamunangue, The Battle, is represented Garrote Game, method of combat traditional cultural event that manages to merge after the fighting of the Spanish, African and indigenous. Is to recognize that the Tamunangue, as expression, is a novelty that must have taken place slowly, with the combination and progressive structuring varied elements, which is manifested through particular symbolic representations of the group holding such festivals in dances, songs and instruments used in accompaniment.
