摘要
Several components of Aeromonas salmonicida extracellular products (ECP), such as hemolysin1,2)protease3,4)and leukocytolysin5)are reported as virulent factors of the pathogen. Kawahara et al.6)showed that the hemolysin fraction of A. salmonicida ECP possessed high lethal toxicity to rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus my kiss), and that the combination of hemolysin and protease fractions of A. salmonicida ECP were cytotoxic to coho salmon (O. kisutch) lymphocytes. Recently, the humoral immune response in white-spotted char (Salvelinus leucomaenis) against A. salmonicida ECP was determined by Kawahara et al.,7)who indicated that only hemolysin contained in A. salmonicida ECP significantly raised antibody titer. In the present communication, the in vitro phagocytic activity of white-spotted char blood cells after injection with A. salmonicida ECP is described. © 1991, The Japanese Society of Fish Pathology.
