摘要
This paper presents an approach to solve the kriging problem, defined in terms of projections, by using Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization. The Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization allows us to find an optimal approximation Y* in the n-dimensional subspace H(n) of any vector Y element of a Hilbert space H. This approach requires O(n3) multiplication operations to obtain an orthogonal basis, and O(n2) multiplications needed to calculate kriging solution for a given point.
