INFRARED REFLECTIVITY OF HIGH-TC SUPERCONDUCTORS

摘要
The unusual quasilinear drop in the reflectivity as a function of frequency ω in YBa2CU3O7 is explained in terms of Fermi surface nesting (nFL theory) accompanied by electron-electron scattering of intermediate strength. The Drude dielectric function acquires a calculated damping {fx017-.FL} = ㆱ Max (2T,| ω| ) and effective mass {fx02mn*FL} (α, T, ω) which fit the reflectivity data well with α = 0.9 over a frequency range up to 8000 cm-1 (1 eV). © 1990, Elsevier Science Publishers B.V.
