摘要
In an electrical contact submitted to a constant force, a relation exists between electrical (voltage, current) and mechanical (hardness, temperature) parameters. Applying this relation yields a simple method to measure the temperature-dependent hardness of a material used in a symmetrical contact and submitted to a slowly rising high intensity current pulse. This method is applied to some pure metals: Ag, Cu, W, Cd, Mo, Zn.
