摘要：

The Research Committee on Organic Contaminants in Water was organized as an expansion of the AWWA Com. on Taste and Odor in Water to define and develop research needs in the topical area of organic matter in water. To attain this goal, the committee assisted in the organization of a conference on Organic Matter in Water Supplies, which was held at the Univ. of Illinois. The report presents a summary of the conferences.
