摘要
A simple method of purifying commercially available acetonitrile by column chromatography over aluminium oxide (neutral) is reported. The absorption at 220 or 230 nm is decreased to values (A = 0.03) which provide a constant baseline in high performance liquid chromatography: the analyzes of proteins and peptides are easier.
