Optical spectra of Sr1-xLaxTiO3 have been investigated to unravel the change of electronic structures with varying the d-band filling parameter x (or Ti-valence, +4-x). In the small-x region (< 0.5), the apparent plasma frequency was observed to increase with x, supporting the simple picture of the d-band filling. As x further increases and approaches the end (x = 1), the deduced effective mass of d-electron was observed to be critically enhanced, indicating the increasing effect of electron correlation.
