摘要
An efficient method suitable for the dynamic analysis of shell structures is introduced. The shell is partitioned into a series of strips, the vibration modes of which are taken as the basic vectors for co-ordinate transformation. This approach highly reduces the degrees-of-freedom of the equation of motion and highly simplifies the computational effort, while good precision can still be ensured.
