REGULATION OF ACIDITY, ACTIVITY, AND SELECTIVITY OF THE CATALYST FOR CRACKING OF VACUUM DISTILLATE

摘要
The influence of a modifying additive (amino-containing compound taken in concentrations lower than 0.01 wt %) on acidity, activity, and selectivity of the cracking catalyst is studied. Catalyst modification results in the blocking of strong acid sites responsible for side processes. Catalyst treatment with an optimum quantity of a modifying additive leads to an increase in activity or selectivity in the process of vacuum distillate cracking. The yield of the target products of cracking can be regulated by changing the concentration of a modifying additive. The action of the modifying compound on the catalyst of cracking is reversible: restoration of the catalytic activity occurs after the catalyst regeneration. The use of the modifying additive in cracking of the vacuum distillate does not alter the pore structure of the catalyst.
