LEAKADIN EFFICACY IN COMBINED THERAPY OF PATIENTS WITH MALIGNANT-LYMPHOMAS OF THE SKIN

Leakadin, a new Soviet drug, was used in the treatment of 85 patients with malignant lymphomas of the skin. Combined therapy included, besides leakadin, glucocorticosteroids and cytostatics. Immediate and late results of therapy are analyzed. Immunologic studies carried out before and after leakadin therapy evidence the immunocorrecting effect of the drug on T lymphocyte subpopulations. Addition of leakadin to combined therapy of patients with malignant lymphomas of the skin helped achieve a sooner clinical remission, prevent the development of cytostatic and corticosteroid therapy side effects, and was conducive, to a certain measure, to stabilization of the process.
