An entire set of electro-optical parameters allows calculation of the intensities of the bands of all intra- and intermolecular vibrations of the water molecule in practically any aquacomplex. It is found that the derivatives of the dipole moment of the O-H bond of the water molecule, with respect to the coordinates of adjacent angles, do not depend on the other particles with which this water molecule forms bonds by means of its unshared electron pair. Analogously, the derivatives of the dipole moment of the water-cation bond with respect to the same coordinates are insensitive to the strength of the hydrogen bond of the same aquacomplex. Two analytical spectral indications, allowing determination of the presence of a cation in the nearest environment of the water molecule, are found.
