Spinoza's Understanding of God in terms of Philosophy of Religion

The notion of God is central and the mostly discussed theme. in the modern day philosophy of religion as it was in the past. Spinoza's understanding is unique in this aspect. The aim of this study is to. elucidate in depth the perception .of God by Spinoza and to refer its place among other theories about God. As it is well-known, Spinoza's understanding is associated with the notion of pantheism. In other words, the notion of pantheism reminds Spinoza and vice versa in philosophy and in philosophy of religion in particular. The question in this context is as follows: Apart from this common understanding, is there any other dimension that Spinoza could also be associated with? Namely, is this the only way that Spinoza constructs God? Seeking an answer to these, in this study I will try to evaluate and point out relations, if any, of Spinoza's conception of God to the understandings of Deism, Theism, Pan-entheism, atheism, agnosticism etc.
