摘要
Mixed ligand chelates of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) formed with nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) and glycine, alanine, valine, or leucine have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, spectral (proton magnetic resonance, infrared, and electronic spectra) and magnetochemical measurements. The results show that NTA is tetradentate, coordination occurring through nitrogen and the three COO- groups. The amino acids also coordinate through their α-amino N and the carboxylate group. The complexes thus have octahedral geometry, as evidenced by their magnetic moments and electronic spectra. © 1990.
