摘要
This paper presents an analysis of filter frequency errors due to coefficient quantization in direct form realization of zero-phase two-dimensional finite impulse-response (2-D FIR) digital filters. Applying a method already used for 1-D FIR digital filters [1], the case of 2-D FIR filters with octagonal or quadrantal symmetry is considered. Based on the analysis, statistical bounds on the frequency response errors and on the wordlength of the filter coefficients are developed and verified by experimental data. © 1990 IEEE
