摘要
Starting from electronic symmetrised APW wavefunctions the author derives the expression of the direct coulombic contribution of the conduction electrons to the crystalline electric field in cubic rare earth intermetallics, taking into account the exact symmetry of the conduction band. Numerical results are deduced for the compounds DyRh, DyCu, DyZn, LaAg and YMg.
