摘要：

The present study which was carried out by the Sex Medical Institute has been based on 5252 telephone calls related to sexual or contraception matters, which were received in the period February 1989 to July 199 1. Of the calls, 58.8% came from men and 41.2% from women. The main topics of the questions concerned masturbation (frequency, guilts), anatomy of the genital system (anxiety and concern on the length of the penis, virility, femininity), the first sexual experience (fear, anxiety of failure).
