摘要：

Big environmental summits are important points of reference not only for specific national policies, but also for the theoretical tendencies i.e. in environmental education. But it is not always possible to find thorough analysis about their contents and the theoretical and historical contexts of the summits. The present article claims to make an approach to this challenge, especially to make it possible to better identify the rise in interest around the environmental education issues and summits. In this context, the different definitions of environmental education which arise from the summits are exposed.
