EXACT STRONGLY BOUND SOLUTIONS OF THE CLASSICAL RELATIVISTIC 2-BODY PROBLEM DUE TO MAGNETIC-INTERACTIONS

摘要
We show that the classical relativistic two-body problem of electrodynamics with Clausius-Darwin potential (alpha/r)(1 - upsilon1 . upsilon2) has very tightly bound solutions besides the usual Kepler orbits. The new elliptic orbits in the center of mass frame have been determined by two different methods. The Bohr-Sommerfeld quantization gives a linearly rising mass spectrum for the new states. The very unusual properties of these solutions are discussed.
