ANODIC-OXIDATION OF TITANIUM IN PHOSPHORIC-ACID BATHS - PHOSPHORUS INCORPORATION INTO THE OXIDE

摘要
Titanium samples were anodically oxidized in H3PO4 baths at various concentrations and voltages. The oxidation kinetics and the yield of incorporation of phosphorus ions into the oxide were studied as a function of the electrochemical parameters. Analytical measurements were performed using nuclear reaction analysis (NRA). A growing mechanism is discussed and we examine how to increase the self-protection of oxide films against corrosion.
