摘要
This study aims to comprehend how teacher education of undergraduate students of a Letras course take place throughout the processes of teaching and learning in an interdisciplinary subproject of languages of the Institutional Program of Scholarships for pre-service teachers (Pibid) at a university in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. The project uses the English language to guide its interdisciplinary actions. The perspective of academic and critical literacies and the perspective of pedagogical knowledge guide this article. This study is of a qualitative nature, with questionnaires and semi-structured interviews applied with two students of the Letras course who have participated in the subproject since its beginning. The results foster the comprehension of the factors involved in teacher education through literacies practices developed in the subproject in partnership with the university. In addition, results suggest that the written and oral productions presented by the students allow a greater engagement in the teaching profession. In conclusion, the activities engaging Pibid, the under-graduation course and movements of these undergraduates at school help in the development of more conscious and reflective professionals who are able to investigate their own practice.
