摘要
We present a study of the influence of acid calcium carbonate Ca(CO3H)2 dissolved in water on the rate of evaporation of aqueous droplets suspended in a turbulent flow. In order to study droplets, whose sizes range from 1 to 8 μm, we have used techniques which have been previously described (El Golli et al., 1972, 1974). It is shown that the activity of aqueous solutions containing Ca(CO3H)2 being near to that of pure water (α1 = 1), the theory which has been elaborated for pure water is also applicable in this case. A series of experiments demonstrate that for solutes of low solubility in general this is indeed the case. © 1979.
