摘要：

A laboratory walker has been built and used to test a number of carpets for ap pearance retention. Appearance changes were evaluated with a HunterLab ColorQuest spectrocolorimeter. Results obtained with the TRI Walker-ColorQuest combination agree with results using contract walkers and visual evaluation. A significant finding is that color effects must be corrected for in the evaluation. © 1990, Sage Publications. All rights reserved.
