THE IMPACT OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE TRAINING OF ENGINEERS

The technologies of the information and the communication, the TIC's, revealed their innovating character in the middle of the 70, they spread quickly during the 80 and they prevailed generating a new paradigm productive that, during years 90, unfolded the essential characteristics of its structure. Several authors interpret these changes like one third industrial revolutions: an incorporated technological innovation to the production way transforms the economic relations and social and, consequently, also it transforms the cultural system that affects. The personal computer occupied the place of the innovation. Microelectronics and computer science went the platform to respond to the always limitless human needs and, at the same time, they provided the infrastructure to trigger an irreversible process in the form to produce goods.
