QUALITY INFORMATION-SYSTEM DESIGN APPROACH

The paper describes the approach toward enterprise management system modelling and its evaluation by experiment on a one-of-a-kind pilot site. This approach is supported by a knowledge base ''KB'' that consists of a generic model and a neutral model. The generic model as part of the knowledge base represents the architecture and the rules used in the diagnosis, improvement and evaluation of the management system model. The neutral model describes the activities, procedures and information that can be found in a production management system. This dcscription includes all features required for total quality management.
