摘要
The specific heats of the beta //1(DO//3) and beta //1 prime (18R) phases in a Cu plus 16. 1 wt% Zn plus 8. 0 wt% Al alloy were measured at temperatures close to its martensitic transformation temperature by two different calorimetric techniques. In the measured temperature range no appreciable difference in the specific heat values of the phases is detected. Some relevent features of the kinetics of the martensitic transformation are deduced from the measurements.
