SIMULATION OF RADIATION-CHEMICAL OXIDATION OF NP(IV) IN NITRIC-ACID SOLUTIONS

摘要
Simulation was performed of radiolytic behavior of Np(IV) in 0.7-6 M HNO3. Rate constants for the reactions Np(IV) + OH and Np(IV) + NO3 have been found by comparing experimental and simulated kinetic curves and radiation-chemical yields of Np(IV) oxidation. The mechanisms of the influence of HNO3 and Np(IV) concentrations and the irradiation dose rate on the efficiency of Np(IV) oxidation are discussed.
