摘要
Present work is based on the analysis and simulation by Finite Element Method (FEM) of a femur external fixation, using the Visual Nastran 4D software. A 35 N weight reference model previously designed and constructed was used for static load analysis On the other hand were considered the antecedents and advances more recent than are known about. The conditions of contour based on the application of the weight of the body supposed in a distributed value of 800 N in the screws that cross to femur. With the previous data the effort by traditional methods with the objective calculated to compare the result obtained from the FEM and to validate the used procedure. The static analyses for each element were made and finally it was come to optimize the model of reference being obtained as result a diminution of the weight of the device in a 73.3%. The diminution of the factor of safety to a reliable value for devices used by the human being (2,81).
