A sensitive and rapid method is described for the measurement of lactate oxidase (no E.C. number) activity using differential pulse polarography, based on the measurement of the reduction wave of transformed pyruvic acid in the presence of an excess of l-lactic acid as the substrate. © 1990 Springer-Verlag.
