摘要：

In his article, we considered the issue of patriotism as a modern phenomenon, paying special attention to the philosophical and pedagogical aspects. Modern schools are taking some steps to form and develop patriotism in the younger generation. Patriotic education of youth on the materials of the mass media is also incorporated in the system objectives of media education.
