摘要：

Two studies examines the relationship of Type A behavior and the nature and quality of one's non-work activities and experiences. One hundred and twenty-eight early career professionals and managers and 473 school-based educators completed Jenkins Activity Survey, a widely used paper-and-pencil index of Type A behavior, and a newly created measure of non-work activities. Type A behavior was moderately related to the character of one's non-work activities. Type A persons participated in fewer non-work activities than their Type B peers suggesting a less fulfilling life. © 1990.
